ABOUT ME

I’ve been passionate about fitness for most of my life.

Growing up with arthritis, I admired athletes in martial arts and soccer, dreaming of becoming strong and capable like them. But years of random bodybuilding routines and performance programs never got me there.

That changed when I discovered Starting Strength - a simple, effective, and no-nonsense method for getting stronger. I started applying it to myself and saw real, lasting results where everything else had failed. I went from a skinny 73 kg boy obsessed with diet to a strong and healthy 90+ kg man focused on the process.

I thought I found the holy grail of lifting. Naturally, I wanted to share it - but I quickly realized most people are drawn to complexity and quick fixes over simplicity and long-term progress. That’s when I decided to become a coach.

I moved out of Italy to work at the only Starting Strength Affiliate Gym in Europe, gaining hands-on experience with lifters of all ages and backgrounds. In August 2024, I became a Starting Strength Coach (SSC) - currently one of five in Europe, and the only Italian one.

In that time, I’ve helped more than 200 lifters discover what real strength training can do for their health, confidence, and quality of life, as well as performance.

If you’re ready to stop guessing, and see what strength can do for you, contact me.

Starting Strength

The most efficient method to increase strength and quality of life

Developed by Mark Rippetoe, a former competitive powerlifter with over 45 years of coaching experience, the Starting Strength Method is the most effective approach to strength training. Backed by decades of practical application and ongoing refinement, it has helped countless people - from complete novices to advanced trainees - build real, lasting strength.

At its core, Starting Strength is based on first principles of biomechanics and physiology. It uses exercises that emulate common human movement patterns - the Squat, Press, Deadlift, Bench Press, and Power Clean - to train the entire body. These exercises use the most muscle mass, move the most weight, and allow for incremental loading in a linear fashion.

This approach is especially useful for novices of any demographic, allowing them to make rapid gains in strength, physical ability and quality of life. Although these lifts continue to form the basis of programming for lifters of any level.

The Starting Strength model is built on clear definitions and standards, and logical progression. It is constantly tested, refined, and applied in real-world settings by certified Starting Strength Coaches around the world.
